James received his first commission at the age of sixteen. Art training began at around the age of nine. Growing up in New Mexico exposed the artist to Native American cultures early on and it was this exposure that involved him in friendships with such artists as R.C. Gorman and other artisans at various pueblos.      New Mexico with its Indian culture had made quite an impact upon the art world as James began his studies at the University of New Mexico.  He studied painting under Master Lithographer Garo Antresian. His portraiture interests led to studies under new British Sculptors Pearson and Young.     The artists uses classic portraiture technique for example in a recent work for the Miami Opera where it had been imperative that the subject matter be instantly recognizable. Watercolor and gouache medium became a favorite expression leading to many works including architectural renderings which he mastered under Architect Yum Kee Fu Aia of Hong Kong and Macao China.      James has at times distinguished himself by his inclusion in the 15th and 16th Editions of Who’s Who in California. This accolade came after his paintings of the San Francisco Opera and Grace Cathedral, among others. Both Queen Beatrix and Princess Margarithe of the Netherlands have been presented works by the artist from various groups or organizations in this country.     James is presently involved in a serious of works with the Town of Palm Beach as the subject matter, the scenery is so resplendent and beautiful that the artist is making every effort to record what he sees with a genuine regard for detail and an awareness of its historical significance.

Nat Le Guillou

Nat Le Guillou

Nathalie Le Guillou was born in France in 1965, into a family in Brittany on the extreme west coast of France where the land stops and the sea commences. Her upbringing in this landscape has marked her with a vision that never ceases to be apparent in her paintings, which often feature these influences.

After having been an underwater photographer for a many years, often in the tropical seas of Polynesia, the Maldives or the Red sea, Nathalie has engraved the depths, the blues and the emeralds in the palette of her emotions.

Today, she is installed in Antibes, in a charming little atelier, which is ideally situated close to the famous Museum Picasso - who himself chose this corner of the French Riviera for its range of vivid colours, and also for its easy going lifestyle. Natalie now divides her talent between sculpture and painting.

On one side are her sculptures and the magic of bringing alive in three dimensions the memories of her distant travels, on the other the infinite surprise of her original paintings in vibrant colors signed “NAT”…… and as always the land and the sea are in the destiny of an artist completely contented.

Carlos Castillo

Carlos Castillo

Carlos Castillo was born in London, England. However, much of his formative years was spent in the tiny Central American nation of Belize.
He has described his style as ” It represents my liberation from the structure of methodical painting. It is spontaneous, passionate and energetic. I sketch and paint intuitively; I approach the blank canvas and invoke it with images
created with gestural strokes of sketching, textural and painting materials. The initial stage is rather quick, as I progress, I add detail to create the finished piece. I paint with my canvas laying flat on the floor, a more natural position to me than the traditional easel painting. Music plays a key role in my creative experience, it expedites the natural flow of thoughts from my mind to the canvas. All these elements add a different dimension to the primitive but refined images I create. I am constantly evolving as an artist, I achieve great pleasure in doing what I do. It plays an integral part of how I see and understand the world we live in.
